The Lab presents at the 2025 International Symposium on River Science

The Ruhi Lab presents river science advances at international symposium.

Three lab members – Amanda Wilk, Chloe Faehndrich, and Maddy Hannappel – attended the International Symposium on River Science (October 2025, Davis, CA) where they shared research on a range of river science topics, including river restoration, nature-based solutions, and cross-system linkages. Amanda shared a poster on a time series analysis of thermal diversity in the Klamath Watershed after the large-scale dam removals, Chloe presented her research exploring how beaver restoration influences river flow regimes in the Sierra Nevada using hydrologic modeling and satellite remote sensing, and Maddy presented on how cross-system transport of omega-3 LC-PUFA via emergent aquatic insects may change under drought conditions. Well done!!
