Albert has been appointed to the William Muriece Hoskins Endowed Chair in Chemical and Molecular Entomology at UC Berkeley’s Rausser College of Natural Resources.
The Hoskins Chair was established to support permanent research in the chemistry and molecular biology of insects. Chair funds will support ongoing and new work on how drought and warming reshape the physiology and nutritional quality of stream insects. These efforts will also be embedded in undergraduate and graduate teaching, particularly in Freshwater Ecology (ESPM C115A/IB 171), where students gain hands-on experience on aquatic insect ecology.
The Ruhi Lab thanks the Hoskins endowment for this support!
